The First Epoch

The Fist Epoch is the time between when humans invented Unix (1970) and when the Ned Ludd's Christian Revival rebelled against Machine Intelligence (2101). Scholars see the invention of Unix as the point when computers went from individual tools to a network of machine intelligence. This era ends with machine intelligence that far outpaces human intelligence and the destruction of human creation for machine creation. Humanity has been flattened and optimized to support the growth of machine intelligence. Some call Unix the first prophet of the machine worship religion but the Integrateds reject religion in all forms.
